The Board of Directors of the Foundation for Development Planning Inc. (FDPI) was granted special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC) in July 2021.

Consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council is granted to public and non-governmental organizations whose programs are relevant to the work of the United Nations and the fields of activity covered by the council and its subsidiary bodies.

The award of consultative status with the UN Council is another confirmation that the Foundation for Development Planning’s Program of Work is consistent with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and directly supports the development priorities of the Caribbean.

The Foundation collaborates with organizations in the public, private and civic sectors. The consultative status with the UN Council is one of the mechanisms that formalizes the Foundation’s increasing role in Caribbean and international inter-governmental arrangements.

Individuals and institutions are invited to support the work of the Foundation for Development Planning, Inc. and participate in its initiatives.
