St. Croix Man Charged with Burglary

The V.I. Police Department arrested a 27-year-old St. Croix resident Wednesday morning and charged him with first-degree burglary.

According to police, Enrique Velasquez was arrested at 8:08 a.m., April 28, on a warrant.

Velasquez allegedly entered an apartment in St. Croix Mutual Homes without permission and assaulted the occupants on Jan. 28, police said.

Velasquez was jailed after failing to post $75,000 bail and held pending his advice of rights hearing.
