Police Investigating Frenchtown Assault

The V.I. Police Department is investigating an assault that took place early Saturday in Frenchtown.

According to police, at 3 a.m., Saturday, the 911 Emergency Call Center dispatched officers to the Roy L. Schneider Regional Medical Center emergency room to speak to the victim of an assault.

The victim, a white male, reported that he had been assaulted in the Frenchtown area by two unknown suspects. He was transported to the emergency room for medical attention. The victim was treated for abrasions about the body and a laceration to the mouth and released.
