VITEMA Will Test Tsunami Warning System Thursday

On Thursday, March 11, at 10 a.m., VITEMA will launch CARIB WAVE 2021 in the USVI with a live test of the Integrated Public Alarm Warning System system.

The purpose of this exercise to raise tsunami awareness and preparation while ensuring that residents’ emergency plans are exercised.

All residents are encouraged to register for participation at www.tsunamizone.org/register and mark your household, school, church, business and community to be counted in this Caribbeanwide endeavor.
