St. Croix Woman Charged with Ammunition Possession

The V.I. Police Department on Friday arrested Rasheda A. Bell, a Sion Farm 31-year-old, and charged her with possession or sale of ammunition.

According to the V.I. Police Department, at about 9:15 p.m., Friday, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by Bell on Northside Road, in the vicinity of the John F. Kennedy Terrace housing community, for traffic infractions.

During the traffic stop, officers reported discovering ammunition in the vehicle. Bell does not have a license to possess a firearm or ammunition, and was arrested.

Bail for Bell was set at $5,500, and she was released, pending her advice of rights hearing.
