Passport Division to Reopen With Limited Services

Office of the Lieutenant Governor of the U.S. Virgin Islands

Passport Acceptance Facilities advises the public that effective Monday, June 1, the passport division will reopen with limited services from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily.

Beginning on this date the division will receive routine applications for new passports and passport renewals. Unfortunately, there will be no expedited services until a later date.

In an effort to continue to serve residents and mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, and in adherence to guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Virgin Islands Department of Health, all persons entering lobbies of passport facilities will be required to wear a mask or face covering. Social distancing guidelines will also be followed.

Passport applications can be found online at www.travel.state.gov and can be downloaded and completed in advance to facilitate local applications.

For general questions and additional information, customers should call the Passport Acceptance Facilities on St. Thomas at 774-2991 or on St. Croix at 773-6449.
