Police Seek Missing 70-Year-Old STT Man

The V.I. Police Department on St. Thomas announced Wednesday that it is seeking the public’s help in locating a 70-year-old man last seen on Saturday.

Stanfield “Stan” Dumas, 70, was reported missing by family members. Dumas is a black male, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall. Police said he was last seen around 7:31 a.m. Saturday leaving his residence in Estate Fortuna, wearing gray pants and a green T-shirt.

Family members reported that Dumas went line fishing alone in Bordeaux Bay and never returned home.

VIPD is asking anyone who may have information about Dumas to call 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-774-2211 ext. 5569 or Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-8477.
