Robbery Reported at Pizza Hut on St. Thomas

Two armed men entered the Pizza Hut in the Fort Mylner Shopping Center on St. Thomas and made off with an undetermined amount of cash, the V.I. Police Department reported.

According to police, at about 10:45 p.m. Friday the 911 Emergency Call Center dispatched officers to the Pizza Hut in regards to a robbery in progress.

Officers responded to the restaurant, where employees told them two black males dressed in dark clothing entered the establishment with handguns and demanded money. An unknown amount of cash was taken, and the suspects fled the store in an unknown direction.

This incident is under investigation. The VIPD urged anyone with information about the crime to call 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-774-2211, or Crime Stoppers USVI at (800) 222-8477
