A man reported to police Monday at 12:38 a.m. that he had been robbed at gunpoint while he was walking on Hamms Bluff Road on St. Croix.

Police did not release the name of the victim, in accordance with department police.

The male victim told police he was walking on Hams Bluff Road when a small white vehicle approached. Two armed masked men exited the vehicle and approached him and demanded everything he had. A struggle ensued between the victim and one of the suspects over possession of his cell phone. The suspects then took the victim’s cell phone and his backpack, which contained personal documents, then left the area in their vehicle.
