Gomez Elementary Resumes Classes Feb. 6

V.I. Department of Education

The Joseph Gomez Elementary School resumed its regular class schedule on Thursday, Feb. 6, following the successful cleaning of sewer lines in the vicinity of the school that were the source of an odor that closed the school early on Feb. 5.

Personnel from the Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority were called to the scene on Wednesday morning to address the issue, resulting in two manholes being cleaned and sewer lines being thoroughly flushed.
