Man Suffers Gunshot in Oswald Harris Court; Suspect Sought

A man was treated for a gunshot wound Wednesday night and the V.I. Police Department said it was looking for information from the community about the crime.

At about 7:54 p.m. Wednesday, VIPD officers were dispatched to the Schneider Regional Medical Center in reference to a gunshot victim, who told police he had been shot while walking in Oswald Harris Court by someone in a vehicle. The victim, whose name was not released by police in pursuance of department policy, was was transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

He said he had no knowledge of who shot him.

This case is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
