Mary C. Ellis passed peacefully on Dec. 25, 2019 in Abington, Penn. She was born on March 11, 1940.
A long-time resident of St. John, Mary is survived by her children: Jodi Burlingame, Todd Burlingame and Matthew Ellis; siblings: Robert Crane III and Priscilla Mitchell; and grandchildren: Benjamin Burlingame and Nicholas Burlingame.
Mary moved to St. John from Massachusetts with her late husband, Harlow Ellis, and children in 1984. She was an active member of the community involved with many events and organizations. Most notably she started the St. John Children’s Carnival Village continued today by the Rotary Club of St. John. Mary will always be remembered for her loving personality and friendly smile.
Memorial Services will be held on St. John at a date to be determined.
