
The V.I. Police Department is looking for Henry “Trouble” Richards Jr., who is wanted in connection with a case of second-degree burglary, domestic violence.
According to police, at about 7 p.m. Friday the VIPD Domestic Violence Unit was notified of an assault that occurred at a residence in Estate Dorothea.
At the scene, officers contacted a female, who told them that at about 3 a.m. that day her estranged husband had come to her home and physically assaulted her, striking her several times to the face and body.
She said her minor son called 911 and Richards fled the area, taking her house keys and her cellular phone.
Police said Richards is known to be armed and frequents the Hospital Ground, St. Thomas. He is about 6 feet, 1 inch tall, weighs about 200 pounds. He is a resident of Estate Pastry on St. John.
Police urged anyone who sees him to “apprehend and notify 911” by calling Sgt. Charmayne Todman of the Domestic Violence Unit at 340-774-2211 ext. 5536 or 340-714-9800.
