Mrs. Walska Maxine Caines of Saddlers Village, St. Kitts, died on Monday, June 10. She resided on St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

She was predeceased by her husband, Royden Caines.

She leaves to mourn: her mother, Mary Flanders Richard (England); sisters: Margaret Samuel, Rosanna Flanders, Gloria Richards, Edith Richards, Josephine Richards, Christine Richards and Rosaline Richards (all in England); brothers: John Stapleton, William Richards and Dennis Richards (all in England); aunt, Frances Flanders-Douglas; uncle, John Harris Flanders; cousin and caregiver, Margaret Flanders; cousins: Angela Flanders, George Flanders and family, and Eleanor Douglas and family; nieces and nephews too numerous to mention; and close friends: Verlyn Proctor, Basil and Juliet Johnson, Elvise Hodge-Hickson, Charlie and Deloris, and Lynn Eddy.

The first viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m., Friday, June 28. The second viewing will take place at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, at St. Andrewโ€™s Episcopal Church. Interment will be at the Smithโ€™s Bay Cemetery on St. Thomas.
