Winston A. Wesselhoft Dies at 62

Winston A. Wesselhoft, affectionately known as “Tina” or “Firefly,” died on Nov. 10. He was 62.

Winston A. Wesselhoft is survived by his daughter, TeJah Wesselhoft; sisters: Nata D. Wesselhoft-Rieara, Laverne J. Wesselhoft and Anita Aubain; brothers: James “Punkie” Wesselhoft, Clyde Wesselhoft, Keith Wesselhoft, Richard “Butchie” Wesselhoft and Jeffery “Chipo” Wesselhoft; aunts: Violet Vanterpool, Yolanda Pehna, Gertrude Samuel and Geraldine Smith; uncle, Winfield Moses; and nieces: Shawna Wesselhoft, Sharika Wesselhoft, Anna Wesselhoft, Devia Wesselhoft, Delicia Wesselhoft, Ywardia Wesselhoft and Georgina Aubain.

He is also survived by nephews: Dwayne Wesselhoft, Devon Wesselhoft, Colenn Wesselhoft, J’Ni Wesselhoft and Marley Aubain; sister-in-law, Lauralee Jackson Wesselhoft; brother-in-law, Gene Freddie Aubain; special ones: Wayne “Soupman” Christian and Frantz; as well as many other families, friends and the Round de Field (Goat Street) Crew.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service that will be held on Friday, Nov. 30, at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. Tributes will begin at 9:30 a.m. with service immediately following at 10 a.m. Interment will be cremation.

Arrangements are under the care of Dan Hurley Home for Funerals and Cremation Center of St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix.
