VIWMA Team Responding to Manhole Overflow in Estate Nadir

Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority

The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) Preserving Paradise Team and contractors continue to address an overflowing manhole in the Estate Nadir community that occurred on Saturday, May 19.

The Authority advises residents to avoid standing water in the impacted area.  Additionally, the motoring public is asked to traverse with caution near the St. Thomas Abattoir and the bridge near Turpentine Run.  Motorists are also advised to use an alternate route around this impacted area.

The VIWMA Preserving Paradise Team thanks the community for their patience and cooperation.
