22-Year-Old Killed in Estate Tutu Shooting

One man was killed early Thursday morning when shots were fired at in the area of the Estate Tutu Apartments.

The victim was identified as 22-year-old Abijah Fahie. It was the 21st homicide on St. Thomas since the beginning of the year, the 37th in the territory.

According to police, at 3:30 a.m. officers were dispatched to the Estate Tutu Apartments in Ras Valley. At the scene, they discovered an unresponsive male individual lying in the parking lot by building 14.

Fahie was identified on the scene by his mother.

Police urged anyone with information on the crime to call the Criminal Investigations Bureau at 340-774 2211, the 911 emergency call center, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.
