Reinaldo Corneiro, 31 of Estate Fortuna, was arrested at about noon Friday after a domestic dispute, according to the V.I. Police Department.
Corneiro was arrested after he allegedly assaulted his sister, niece and a friend by pointing a hand gun towards them and threatening to do bodily harm.
Police executing a search warrant discovered 47 individual marijuana plants, which were held for evidence.
Corneiro was charged with third-degree assault, possession of an unlicensed firearm, and cultivation of marijuana. No bail was set, and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise of rights hearing.
