David Emanuel Dawson Sr., better known as "Dee Dee Sharp," died on Oct. 24.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Dawson; sons: Dennis Lee Corraspe and David Dawson Jr.; daughters: Sherry and Nicole Dawson; sisters: Urlin Freeman, Mariel Lucas, Ina Georges, Patricia Collins, Judith and Denise Smith; brothers: Maxwell, Winston, Liston, Vincent and Mario Georges, and Glen Smith; daughter-in-law, Nikima Landers-Dawson; 11 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place from 5-7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 4, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
A second viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, at Wesley Methodist Church. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
