Man Charged with Possessing Unlicensed Firearm

Raijah Raheem Royer, 22, was arrested Monday night and charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm, according to the V.I. Police Department.

At about 9:32 p.m. Monday, officers arrested Royer after they allegedly saw him throw an object from the roadway into the bushes in Estate Frydenhoj. It was later determined to be a firearm, police said.

Royer was held on a $10,000 bail pending his advice of rights hearing.
