CoastWeeks Cleanup Event to Begin With 2-Mile Run/Walk on Sept. 17

St. Thomas Association of Roadrunners (STAR) will join the Environmental Association of St. Thomas-St. John (EAST) and the University of the Virgin Island’s Marine Advisory Service to clean up the beach at Brewers Bay. The event will start with 2-mile run at 7:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 17. The entry fee is $5 but free for those who work on the cleanup. Refreshments will be provided.
People can preregister at Mystic Valley-VI Tillett’s Garden or in Room 216 of the UVI Marine Science Center. On race day, registration will take place from 6:45 to 7:15 a.m. at Brewers Bay.
