Man Stabbed at Black Point Hill

A 56-year-old man was stabbed multiple times Monday afternoon on Black Point Hill, the V.I. Police Department reported.

The police identified the victim as Vincent Brooks, a resident of Estate Hope.

The 911 center dispatched officers to the Schneider Regional Medical Center at 4:33 p.m. Monday after receiving a report from the hospital that a man was being treated for stab wounds.

Brooks suffered lacerations to his right hand, stomach area, and forehead. He was treated for his injuries and then released from the hospital.

The police report did not provide any information on how the incident occurred.

The case is under investigation by Criminal Investigation Bureau.
