St. Thomas District Reports Incidents

The St. Thomas-St. John police district reported Tuesday on two incidents, an assault and a robbery.
On Sunday at approximately 11:47 p.m., a male victim reported that while in the area of Palms Court, an unknown black man struck him several times to the head with an unidentified object.
The victim was transported to the Schneider Regional Medical Center, where he was treated and released for lacerations sustained in the attack. This matter is still under investigation.
On Monday at 12:29 a.m., a woman reported that while sitting on the balcony of Rosa’s Place, she was approached by an unknown black man. The man approached her from behind and pointed a gun towards her head. The victim said the man took her bag and fled the area.
