Aubrey A. Vialet Sr. Dies in Virginia

St. Thomas native Aubrey A. Vialet Sr. died on April 14 in Norfolk, Va. Born on St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, on June 23, 1946, he has lived in Norfolk, Va., since 1996. He was a Vietnam veteran, former member of the V.I. National Guard and employee of the Earle B. Ottley Post Office.
He was predeceased by his father, Felix Vialet Sr. and his mother, Huldah Vialet.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Vialet; sons: Aubrey Vialet Jr. and Anthony A. Vialet; daughter, Monique A. Simon; son-in-law, Dalma Simon; granddaughters: Deja-Marie Simon, Tia Vialet and Arianne-Brianna Vialet; grandsons: Kairo Vialet and Miles Simon; sister, Noreen West; brother, Felix J. Vialet Jr; sister-in-law, Marie Vialet; brother-in-law, Joseph West; nieces: DeEtta West and Marjorie Vialet; nephews: Shawn Vialet, Felix Vialet III and Gerald Gift; and numerous great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He will be laid to rest on Wednesday, April 22, at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Norfolk, Va.
