Police on St. Thomas are pursuing leads in three separate robberies. In two cases the victims were robbed of gold jewelry. No one was injured, according to the V.I. Police Department.

Monday police were notified of a robbery on First Avenue in Estate Thomas. The victim told police that, at about 2:30 p.m., he was walking in the area when a man came up from behind and demanded his gold chain. The victim said he saw the suspect holding a black handgun, so he gave him the gold chain. At that time another suspect walked up to him and took his gold bracelet. Both suspects ran from the scene. The victim said more than $2,500 in gold jewelry including a wedding ring was taken from him.

A few minutes before 5 p.m. Sunday, another robbery occurred on Hospital Line. The female victim told police a man who later fled the area on foot robbed her at gunpoint. The suspect took her gold necklace, gold bracelet, gold Virgin Islands flag pendent and gold Nefertiti charm.

And at about 11:45 p.m. Saturday, a victim was robbed on Prindsens Gade. The victim in this case told police she was walking home and went through the Human Services parking lot. She was approached by a man who pointed a silver handgun at her and demanded money and her cell phone. The suspect also asked for the phone password before fleeing the area on foot.
