Leroy Lenhardt Dies in New Jersey

Leroy Lenhardt died on Jan. 15 at Copper Rehabilitation Center in New Jersey. He was 67 years old.
He is survived by his companion, Delores Henry; daughters: Janice and Lydia Lenhardt; sons: Lamar and Miguel Lenhardt; stepchildren: Sherica, Shemonica, Derrick, Aleak, Maleak and Aaron Miller, and Anna Wesselhoft; sisters: Una and Joyce Lenhardt, and Antoinette Lenhardt Richards; brothers: Cecil and Titus Lenhardt; grandchildren: Journey, Miracle and Kyran Lenhardt; stepgrandchildren: Za’Heem Brewster, Xorisha, Riquan and Zomari Fenton, Shanniya Miller and Zahmani Jones; and sisters-in-law: Ada Lenhardt, Marilyn James, and Jacklyn and Sharon Payne.
He is also survived by brothers-in-law: Warren Allick, Elrose Richards, Reinhold John Sr. and Wayne Henry; aunt, Eugenie Lenhardt; nieces: Diane and Merle Allick, Juanita and Earlene Wagner, Paula Pickering, Shareen Wilson-Duncan, Lisa Lenhardt, Michelle Lenhardt-James, Trina Seabrook, Leona Henry, and Afrilasia Joseph-Phipps; nephews: Henry Wagner, Shern Morris, Cecil Lenhardt III, Amolay and Roy Christopher Jr., Karami Lenhardt and Schuyler Connell; and cousins: Fariline Hugo, Lauritz Moorehead, Carmen Mill, Ura Gosha, Eureka Phillips, Harriett, Denise, Leon and Herman Lenhardt, and Gloria Lenhardt-Brathwaite and Johannes Lenhardt Jr.
Other survivors include special friends: Mr. and Mrs. Rodney and family, the O’Bryan family, Misters Benjamin, Henderson, Lindsey, Harvey, Delgado, Armstrong, Ramirez and Perkins, the Department of Housing Parks and Recreation families, Helen Wells, Marilyn Christian, Janet Cochran, Patricia MacFarlane, Gerard Luz James and family, Maggie Milligan, Rodney McIntosh and family, Lloyd Roberts and family, James Patterson and family, and Barrington Lee; as well as other family and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
