Police on Wednesday identified 28-year-old Keyna Lawrence and her 7-year-old son, Devontae Charles, as the victims of a Tuesday homicide in Estate Glynn.
They were the 17th and 18th homicide in the territory since the start of the year, the ninth and 10th on St. Croix. They were the third and fourth homicides on the island in the last week.
While the island buzzed with shocked speculation about the circumstances surrounding the double murder, the V.I. Police Department did not offer any theories or details while the investigation unfolds.
