Andrew Bridgewater Jr. of Pepper Tree Terrace died on June 24. He was six years old.
He was preceded in death by his cousin, Daston Anthony Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Judy Matthews; father, Andrew Bridgewater Sr.; big brother, Justin Matthews (St. Thomas); sister, Andrianna Bridgewater; grandmothers: Suzette Matthews, (St. Thomas) and Lenore Bridgewater; grandfathers: Cleveland Williams Sr. (New York) and Joseph Bridgewater Sr.; aunts: Jessica Smithen-Boncamper, Kenisha and Shennel Smithen (St. Thomas), Joshlyn and Porscha Williams (New York), and Belinda Bridgewater; uncles: Askeo, Dario and Cleveland Williams (St. Kitts), Adrian, Angelo and Joseph Bridgewater Jr., Victor Barry (St. Thomas), Darryl George Sr. (St. Thomas) and Herman Lloyd (St. Thomas); and uncle-in-law, Daston Anthony Sr. (St. Thomas).
He is also survived by cousins: Hortense and Amanda Phillip, Colette and Melda Jones (St. Thomas), Dennis “Texx” Richardson (St. Thomas), Nigel Wrensford (St. Thomas), Aliyah, Amaru, Ky-mani, Jaliyah and Joseph Bridgewater III (St. Croix); other relatives and friends; the Matthews family, the Bridgewater family, the Ottley family, the Bradshaw family, the James family, the Phillip family, the Jones family, the Wrensford family, Smithen family, the Fredericks family, the Mitchell family, the Andrews family, the Swanston family, the Archibald family, the Huggins family, the Ravariere family, the Barbel family, the Petersen family, the Branch family, the Browne family, the Vanterpool family, the Gumbs family, the Leonard family, Lawrence and the Lew Muckle family; along with many other family and friends too numerous to mention.
The family requests that festive colors be worn (blue or green).
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Peter’s Rest. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
