Beach Advisory for Feb. 25-March 1

DPNR performed water quality analysis at the 20 out of 43 designated beaches throughout the territory during the week of February 25-March 1, 2013. Please note: Beaches in the St. Thomas-St. John district were not sampled this week.
The following beaches meet water quality standards and are safe for swimming or fishing:

St. Croix

Stony Ground
Dorsch
Protestant Cay
Chenay Bay
Buccaneer
Davis Bay
Cane Bay
Cramer Park
Gentle Winds
Rainbow
Columbus Landing
Shoy’s
New Fort (Ft. Louise Augusta)
Frederiksted Public Beach (First Target)
Pelican Cove (Comorant)
Princess (Condo Row)
Sprat Hall
Halfpenny
Grapetree Bay
Teague Bay

DPNR will continue to monitor the impacted areas and waters. For additional information regarding water quality call the Division of Environmental Protection at 773-1082 0n St. Croix.
