Tourism Renews St. Croix Vacations Promotion

The Tourism Department announced Wednesday that its St. Croix Fantastic Flight promotion is back, offering booking incentives for travelers to enjoy a St. Croix vacation package during the winter season.

Travelers who book the St. Croix Fantastic Flight promotion receive a $300 instant airfare credit on packages of six nights at participating hotels. The package also includes the sixth night free plus a $20 Match Play Casino certificate. The offer is available now through Jan. 31 for travel between Jan. 27 and March 24.

Tourism Commissioner Beverly Nicholson Doty said in a press release that the department reintroduced the promotion to offer travelers instant savings on winter getaways to St. Croix.

"The island’s event calendar is filled with exciting activities this winter from cultural events like the St. Croix Agricultural Fair and Jump Up block party to sporting events, such as the St. Croix Scenic 50 foot race and the St. Croix Golden Hook fishing tournament," Doty said.

Hotels participating in the promotion include The Buccaneer Hotel, Chenay Bay Beach Resort, Club Comanche, Club St. Croix, Colony Cove, Divi Carina All Inclusive Beach Resort and Casino, Hibiscus Beach Resort, Hotel Caravelle, The Palms at Pelican Cove, Renaissance St. Croix Carambola Beach Resort and Spa, Sand Castle on the Beach and Tamarind Reef Resort.

Reservations for this package can be booked at www.VisitUSVI.com and through Apple Vacations, Cheap Caribbean, Costco Travel, Expedia, American Airlines Vacations, American Express Vacations, JetBlue Getaways, Travelocity and US Airways Vacations.
