FirstBank Gives New Mortgage Clients Reflective Address Signs

FirstBank is issuing brightly reflective, super-visible NightVision home address signs to new mortgage clients in the Eastern Caribbean, according to the bank. NightVision signs make it easier for emergency responders to locate your home and therefore, save precious time when every second counts, according to FirstBank. The property address is displayed on both sides of the sign and clearly visible from all directions, day or night.

FirstBank has partnered with Toya Malone of Malone Media Group to put out the signs.

“The team wanted to come up with a “thank you” gift that would be really beneficial to our mortgage clients and their loved ones," said Dana Robertson, FirstBanks’ consumer lending processing underwriting and closing manager, in a statement. "Once you contact 911- the police, fire, ambulance personnel need to be able to find your home quickly. These signs can help them do that,” she said.

In times of emergency, it is critical that responders be able to find your property quickly. Unmarked or poorly marked properties can severely delay emergency personnel when they are trying to locate your residence, especially at night, FirstBank officials said in the statement.

FirstBank encourages homeowners to assess their homes and ensure that addresses are clearly visible from the street.
