Albert Creque Sr. Dies

Albert Creque Sr., also known as “Popolino,” died on Feb. 3. Funeral arrangements are by Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
He is survived by his spouse Blanche Creque; daughters: Sharon and Kishma Creque; sons: Albert Creque Jr., Alston, Lloyd, Ulric, Dexter and Kareem Creque. He is predeceased by brother, Bernard Creque. He is also survived by sister,Theodora Creque Smith; brothers: Leonard Creque Sr. and Eranimo Peterson; daughter-in-law, Maria Ostalaza Creque; sister-in-law: Linda Creque and Gwendolyn Peterson; grandchildren: Theodore Massalene, Alston Creque, Jr., Deshawn Creque, Latisha Creque, Shamoy Bryan, Sha-Kiah Bryan, Ky-Nisha Grosvenor, Sha’Quana Foy, Yadira Creque and Yadisha Creque; nieces: Monique George Creque, Gwen Creque-Rojas, Sheri Smith, Cherise Creque-Quain, Leah Creque, April Peterson and Gwen Peterson; and nephews: Corey Smith, Carl Smith, John Smith, II, Jerry Smith, Michael Creque, Dale Creque and Leonard Creque Jr.
Other survivors include great nieces: Jereyia and Keore Smith, Jolena and Saida Harrigan, Makisha Creque and Brandi Marsh; great nephews: John Smith III, Jeremiah Smith, Benito Creque, Masaca Creque, Leonard Creque III and Jacinto Rojas III; special great nephew, Nycholas Ge’Kai Browne; special friends: Edgar McClean, Winston Daniel, Ariel Brathwaite Sr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
There will be a first viewing held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. A second viewing will take place at 11 a.m. and a funeral service at noon Friday, Feb. 17, at Word of Faith International Christian Ministry (formally the Old Mill). Interment will follow at Western Cemetery No. 1.
Funeral arrangements are by Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
