Police Probe La Grande Princess Shooting

A man was shot at and grazed by a bullet Monday morning in Estate La Grande Princess.

The man declined medical attention, according to the V.I. Police Department, which is investigating the case as a third-degree assault.

Police were dispatched about 8:45 a.m. Monday to investigate a report of shots fired near Five Corners in La Grand Princess. When officers arrived they found the victim, who said unknown individuals in two vehicles – a black Cherokee and a Yellow Jeep Wrangler – fired shots at him while he was in the yard of his home.

Police are looking into the case and ask anyone who has information on this assault to call detectives at 712-6077 or 712-6037, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-TIPS.
