St. Thomas detectives are investigating a double murder in Estate Anna’s Retreat that occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. Tuesday.
The victims, identified as K’nesia Brathwaite, age 20, and Komorr Donastorg, 24, were found with multiple gunshots to the body, according to a V.I. Police Department news release.
Police at the scene said they observed a gray four-door Honda parked in the driveway of a private home in the neighborhood. Upon closer inspection, officers discovered Donastorg in the driver’s seat, his body slumped over onto the passenger side of the car. Brathwaite was found outside on the ground.
Emergency medical technicians took both victims to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
Police are urging anyone with information on the murders to call Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-TIPS and submit an anonymous tip. The case is also being followed by VIPD Major Crime Bureau detectives, who can be reached at 714-9202 or 714-9207.
