St. Croix Police on Thursday arrested 40-year-old Warren Graham of Estate Mon Bijou and charged him with second-degree assault domestic violence for the nonfatal stabbing of a 25-year-old woman.
According to a VIPD release issued Thursday, there was an ongoing argument that had lasted for several weeks between Graham, members of Graham’s family, and the woman, who is pregnant.
At 8:30 a.m. Thursday, the parties reportedy resumed arguing in the Sion Farm residential area.
After leaving there, they continued arguing near a stoplight on Queen Mary Highway, where Graham allegedly stabbed the victim three times.
According to the release, the victim was treated at Juan F. Luis Hospital. A further update on her condition was not available Thursday evening.
Graham was denied bail due to the domestic violence law, and Domestic Violence detectives will continue to follow up on the case.
