Wendell L. Thomas died on Aug. 31.
He is survived by his daughter, Monifa Thomas; brothers: Lowell Thomas Sr. and Wayne Thomas; sister, Sonia Vicars; aunts: Sharon Smalls, Ilka Martin, Lewana Richards, Delight Fleming, Marcia Petrus and Ruth Ferdinand; uncles: Layton Leonard and Lorne Richards; nephew, Lowell Thomas Jr.; nieces: Ebonnie and Lotora Thomas, Delsa and Lisa Thomas and Adeline De Jesus; grandchildren: Z’Niqua, Za-Quan, A-Khoi, Za-khye; great-grandchild, Ariana Jones; and son-in-law, Ezekiel Wattley Jr.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at St. Andrew’s Church. Burial will be in the Western Cemetery No. 3.
All funeral arrangements are by Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
