Two Suspects Awaiting Extradition from Territory

Two men wanted by the law in other U.S. jurisdictions are being held by the V.I. Police Department pending their extradition, the department reported.

Nacaro Sampson of Rivera Beach, Fla., is wanted in Palm Beach County, Fla., and Francisco Reville of Arlington, Texas is wanted by authorities in Lansing, Mich. Both suspects are being held on St. Croix pending extradition.

Police received information on the whereabouts of Sampson and arrested him at an Estate Catherine’s Rest residence at about 10:30 a.m. Monday. Sampson is wanted in Florida for interference with custody, which is a family offense in that state. His information was entered into the National Crime Information Center with instructions to arrest and extradite him.

Reville, age 44, was detained by Port Authority police at the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport on St. Croix and turned over to VIPD. He was arrested at about 2:45 p.m. Saturday. Law Enforcement in Michigan entered his information in the NCIC system with instructions to arrest and extradite. Reville is wanted for failure to pay child support and failure to appear in court.
