Inez Lucina Harris, wife of the late Ralph E. Harris and daughter of the late Eugenie Martin and Neville Pamenter, died at her residence in Estate Sion Farm on July 12.
She is survived by her children: Dr. Bronti Gonsalves, Roy Arthur (Brother) Anslyn MBE, Lynette Richards, Larry Harris, Twillar Harris, Roderick Harris, Dr. Carl Everette Harris, Harvey Harris, Handel Harris, Rita Woolridge, Gary Harris and Reuel Michael Harris; godchild, Abdul Ali “Mongoose;” daughters-in-law: Francica Harris, Mica Harris and Gloria Anslyn; sons-in-law: Myron Woolridge and Wilfred Richards; brothers: Charles Claxton and Esrick Claxton; two sisters-in-law; 27 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; adopted daughters: Kathleen Buchanan Aretha Mc Farlande and Adorna Bussue; many nieces and nephews; special friends and caretakers: Alicia Brown and Vedabelta Halliday; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be viewing held at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19, at The Way of the Cross Church, Estate Catherine’s Rest. Ms. Harris will be laid to rest in her native Nevis at the Bath Village Cemetery.
