Woman Arrested for Domestic Violence Assault

A St. Thomas woman was arrested and chared with third-degree domestic violence for attacking a man with a pair of common household items.

Police arrested Karimah Charles-Clendinen shortly after midnight Sunday.

According to police, Clendinen and a 34-year-old male victim were arguing at an Estate Bovoni residence when she sprayed air freshener in the victim’s face and hit him several times with a frying pan.

The victim received bruises to his forehead and left forearm but refused to seek medical attention. Because of the domestic violence charge, Clendinen was held without bail, pending further court action.
