Top Cop to Go One-On-One witih St. Johnians

Police Commissioner Novelle Francis will meet Tuesday with St. John residents in both Cruz Bay and Coral Bay. All conversations will be private and appointments are necessary, Police Department spokeswoman Melody Rames said.

Francis will be at the Cruz Bay police station from 9 a.m. to noon and at the Coral Bay Community Council office in Coral Bay from 1 to 3 p.m.

"He takes appointments all the time on St. Thomas and St. Croix. He felt this might be more convenient," Rames said of the St. John appointments.

Community Council President Sharon Coldren said the meetings provide opportunities for everyone to express his or her concerns. "What they’d like to see or if they have any problems to report," she said.

To make an appointment, call Geraldine Holland at 715-5506.
