UVICELL Offers Courses on Massage Therapy

Virgin Islanders with an interest in learning more about massage therapy can register for a course being offered by University of the Virgin Islands – Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning (UVICELL) Center called Massage Techniques with Complementary and Alternative Therapy. It will be held from 6-9 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday beginning March 2. Sessions will be held at the UVICELL Center on St. Thomas.

Participants will have an opportunity to explore a variety of therapeutic massage techniques such as Thai, reflexology, ayuvedic, herbal and aromatherapy. Complementary and Alternative Therapy will be offered as a separate session for individuals who simply wish to learn more about the science and health applications of quantum physics, the natural therapy of sound healing, energy balancing, internal martial arts and much more.
