Olivia St. Rose Dead at 81

Olivia St. Rose Olivia St. Rose of Clifton Hill died on Dec. 15, at her residence. She was 81 years old.

She is survived by her daughters: Maria Challenger and Ursuline Khan; son, Benedict Shillingford; grandchildren: Bennette, Sherilyn, Irvin and Alice Shillingford, Fedeiliea Lawrence, Alicia Simmons, Desmond and Errol St. Jean, Hilma Alfred, Bob Jno, and Hope, Danny, Sylma and Lyster Challenger; sons-in-law: Eric Challenger and Pervaiz Khan; sisters: Jane Richard, Elonecia Drigo, Monica Samuel and Rebecca Nicholas; brother, Stebin Richard; and sister-in-law, Octasia Richard. She is also survived by nieces: Linda Bannis, Althea Graham, Ellon Richard, Olivette Dubique and Queen Nation; nephews: Anthony Williams, Georges St. Rose, Herman Graham and Jomo Jacob; aunts: Media Vigilant and Vernice Francis; special friends: Marina Ettiene, Alice Jackson, Cynthia Atwell and Gemma Boland; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30, at the Southside Pentecostal Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
