The St. Thomas Fishermen’s Association invites the public to its fifth annual Fun Day to be held from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., on Sunday, Oct. 11, at the Joseph Aubain Ballpark in Frenchtown. The day’s activities begin at 10 a.m. with co-ed softball games and DJ Jason Greaux entertaining the crowd. There will be plenty of local food (including whelks and rice, and conch in butter sauce), drinks and raffles. Also, the US Coast Guard will provide free safety packages to boaters.The afternoon will feature a kids kickball game starting at 2:30pm. At 4-4:30 p.m. the big rivalry game between the Northside and Frenchtown men will begin, with Governor John deJongh Jr. throwing out the first pitch.

Cool Sessions Brass will entertain from 6-11 p.m. Come out and enjoy a day of family and community fun as the non-profit association raises money to help fund its participation in important regulatory meetings locally and abroad.
