Melvina Roberts, also known as “Minnie,” of Sion Farm died on Sept. 27, at the Brandon Regional Hospital in Riverview, Fla. She was 60 years old.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Wordsworth Roberts; daughters: Jennifer, Debra, Louise and Angela Roberts; sons: Steve and Shawn Roberts; daughter-in-law, Jacinta Roberts; grandchildren: Shomari Shillingford, Saedeek Tonge, LaQuanda and Dontae Toussaint, Antonio, Olivia, Shante, Jahmaar, Roberts, Roberts, Tashara and Tashalela Roberts. She is also survived by sisters: Esther, Catherine and Henrietta; brothers: Williams, John and Phillip; sisters-in-law: Vernie Fernandez and Danetta Mitchell; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m., on Friday, Oct. 9, at Beeston Hill Wesleyan Holiness Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
