Police on St. Croix are investigating a homicide that occurred about 2 p.m. Thursday in Estate Catherine’s Rest.
Someone called 911 and alerted police to shots being fired. Several police units responded to the area and found a victim with multiple gunshots wounds to his body lying motionless in the street. Police say the victim was apparently outside the supermarket when he was approached by one or more individuals, who shot at him.
The victim was identified as 18-year-old Anthony Minto Jr.
