Police Arrest Suspects in Three Incidents

Police on St. Thomas arrested six suspects Tuesday on a variety of charges ranging from assault to burglary and illegal firearm possession in three separate incidents.
Officers accused 21-year-old Lee Seagojo of Oswald Harris Court and 27-year-old Ron Rivera of Smith Bay of assaulting a man on Coki Point Beach. Bail for each was set at $35,000, and they remain in the custody of the Bureau of Corrections.
An 18-year-old and two 17-year-olds were arrested for a burglary that happened Monday. Officers said 18-year-old Devon John-Marie face third degree burglary charges. He was arrested after he was identified as one of the suspects in the burglary of an Estate Elizabeth residence. The two 17-year-old minors were also arrested for the burglary. Bail for the adult suspect was set at $25,000 and he was remanded to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
Also, officers arrested Alrick Schneider for possession of an unlicensed firearm. Police reported they were on a routine patrol in the Contant Knoll area Tuesday afternoon when they observed Schneider acting suspiciously. Offcers said he tried to evade them by running away but was captured. They say the gun was found tucked into the waist of his pants. It was turned over to the Forensic Bureau for processing. Schneider remains held on bail of $10,000.
