If you are on St. Croix Saturday, you will have a chance to speak your piece to members of the Legislature. There will be a town hall with a panel of several senators in Frederiksted’s Buddhoe Park from 2 to 5 p.m.
Audience members who have signed up will express their concerns first, then the senators will respond, said Stephanie Scott Williams of The People’s Community Action Radio, who will broadcast the forum on Reef Broadcasting’s WRRA AM 1290 radio station. A community group named "We the People" organized the forum.
"We want this to be a productive discussion, focused on the issues and aimed toward a plan of action," said Williams. Several senators have said they will appear and several more have indicated they may come as well, she said.
