LWV Will Watch National Council Meeting Via Webcast

The League of Women Voters of the United States will hold a virtual council meeting via webcast from 1-5 p.m., on Tuesday, June 13. Members of the LWV in the Virgin Islands will be able to view an up-to-the-minute briefing on League legislative issues from Senior Director of Advocacy Lloyd Leonard. Besides conducting usual business, participants will get to hear an interview with Sen. Kay Hagan (D-NC) and President Mary Wilson.
This is the League's first virtual National Council meeting via webcast. All members are invited to be a part of this important meeting. LWV-VI participants are asked to meet at the University of the Virgin Islands St. Thomas Campus Business Administration Building in Room BUS 110 to view the proceedings.
State League delegates will be voting on the LWVUS/EF board recommended 2009-10 budget.
