Crime Stoppers Needs Your Help

Crime Stoppers is asking the community to help the VIPD solve the following crimes, and would like to remind you that any information, no matter how insignificant, may be just what the police need to solve these cases:
St. Croix: Police are asking for information on anyone who is stealing cars, car parts, or repairing vehicles with stolen parts.
St. John: Police are seeking information on the people who were involved in the recent assaults in Cruz Bay. If you know the names, nicknames, physical descriptions, addresses, or any other information on any of these suspects, call Crime Stoppers.
St Thomas: Police are seeking information about the shooting on Wednesday, May 6, in which an elementary school student was shot by a stray bullet. Please remember, any information, even small things, may be just what the police need to solve this crime.
Crime Stoppers is pleased to report that it has received 148 tips, 30 of which have resulted in 17 arrests, and $15,285 of authorized rewards. Everyone who submitted a tip can check with Crime Stoppers to see if they are eligible for a cash reward.
Community members can submit tips to Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). The tips are completely anonymous, and the stateside operators are bilingual. Tipsters can also submit tips online at CrimeStoppersUSVI.orgor by texting "USVI" plus your message to CRIMES (274637). If a tip leads to an arrest or the recovery of stolen property or illegal drugs, the tipster receives a cash reward to be paid according to their instructions. Only anonymous callers to Crime Stoppers are eligible for these cash rewards. these cash rewards.
