May 1, 2009 – George Henry Lee, also known as "Stratton," died on April 27, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 72 years old.
He is survived by his spouse, Jestina Davis-Lee; sons: Livingston Smithen, Greyville Liburd, and Samuel and Clyde Lee; daughters: Jennifer Lee-Walcott, Muriel Liburd and Georgette Lee; stepchildren: Greta, Elrita, Franklyn, Joanne, Ave' Gailann and Pernell; daughters-in-law: Stephanie Maxwell, Rapheala James and Michelle Martin; sons-in-law: Lorenzo Walcott and Russell Theodore; grandchildren: Jahmal, Jaheem, Jahmari, Jahkeem, Jahmeel and Jahseniah Lee, Asie Rogers, Miguel Cruz Jr., Deray Martin, Greyville Liburd Jr., Asasha Rogers, Amanda Rodgers, Menyelek Austin, Keshema Gorden, Makeda Whyte, Jahman Muir, Jamala Muir, Berhane Abramham, Queen Marisha Liburd, Jahsiah Theodore, Queen Isayiah Esperenza-Theodore, and Erek J. Walcott. He is also survived by sister, Doreen Sargeant; brother, Balwin Joseph; brothers-in-law: Olmroy Mayers and Tydel John; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m., on Saturday, May 9, at the Apostolic Faith Mission Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
